Applied for AdSense December 4, 2007

I applied for Google AdSense this evening.
It’s a bit exciting because I “lied” a little bit in the appliance.
I’ve already attempted to apply once before, but didn’t quite follow up on it so I MIGHT have an account already.
Can’t really remember.
I don’t intend to make a living of GoogleAds. The main reason for doing this is that I plan to expand this blog into a larger website
sometime in the future. I will be adding something of value of course, it shall not only be a blog.
When that time comes, it will be great to have had used GoogleAds previously instead of trying to sort out how and why to do what.
Hmm.. …. “how and why to do what”.. Doesn’t quite sound right, but can’t seem to find anything wrong about that phrase. lol. Nevermind.
Starting now, I will start sorting my previous posts and writing down ideas for new ones.
This blog won’t become anything big if I don’t attend to it often enough.
Wow.. People offended makes traffic… November 30, 2007

Google pics has included the picture from my “double-toothed narwhal” post.
Because of that, loads of traffic are being directed to my blog.
Mostly people offended by the killing of the double-toothed narwhal, but ALSO people who
expresses their understanding of how killing a narwhale can be perfectly normal in SOME parts of the world.
Now I daily recieve tons of comments (mainly negative) regarding the narwhal.
I must say that I haven’t personally killed nor helped someone killing a narwhal,
BUT I’ve been on trips hunting seals and reindeer. (No commercial value, plain food).
I checked out Technorati’s blog-worth calculator which came up with this:

My blog is worth $564.54.
How much is your blog worth?
In the village by which the narwhal were killed lives only a handful of people.
Narwhals, seals and other animal nearby contributes to the narrow array of food available to the villagers.
You must understand that those people don’t kill animals for money, they hunt for food.
And I can’t imagine that the hunter who shot the doubletoothed narwhal could’ve seen that it was one of a kind
before he killed it.

I’m back!
The Daily Quote: Since the chances are that I won’t be blogging every single day, I’ve changed the “The Daily Quote” to “Quoted”.
More accurate I think
Here in Ilulissat the weather is rather bad. It’s snowing and windy. Blizzard-ish, you could say.
But I’m happy that it’s not very cold. Just below zero.
I’ve quit my R/C Helicopter hobby because I can’t fly them in Greenland at winter, so now there’s one less thing to write about.
Currently I am doing some Intention/Manifestation experiments, but I’m not sure whether I should write about it or not.
This blog isn’t really intended for Personal Development, and I/M could be a little too far off this blogging style. I’ll decide later
To make a long story short, I’m looking for an apartment. I actually found one but the chances that I get it are not really in my favour.
I/M has worked for me previously, so I thought I would do a little experiment to see if it could help me getting that apartment.
(If you’ve seen “The Secret”, you probably know what I’m talking about. If not, I recommend it).
Pictures: Yes yes, I know that I promised you lots of pictures of Greenland. It’s becoming winter here and that means that It’s pretty dark most of the time. I will see if I can take a shot or two during the few light hours during the day.
I’ve got a new “habit” by the way.. When sitting in front of my computer, bored, surfing the internet to find interesting stuff, I spin pens!Yes, it may seem a bit juvenile, but it’s actually pretty fun. At least AFTER you’ve learned your first trick or two.
There’s actually a number of websites and forum dedicated to penspinning. There you can find discussions regarding pens, pen modifications, tricks and many other things. The penspinning community is expanding pretty quickly.
In my opinion, penspinning is a pretty good thing to do as long as you don’t set aside other important things while spinning. It also increases dexterity in your fingers.
(I only do it while sitting in front of my computer)
Enough for now. Have a nice day

Crashed my heli May 18, 2007
Posted by jangeisler in RC Helis.1 comment so far
The day before yesterday I flew my t-rex around outside of my house.
I should’ve known better than to fly in the wind. While doing circuits, a wind-gust sent my heli into a building, and all plastic parts on it litterally exploded. lol.
At least that gives me the opportunity to upgrade it to metal
I will post back with pictures when the upgrade/repair is complete.
